The boots were worn a couple of times before they were customized. They were white Steve Madden boots. Genuine leather upper - paint is more durable on leather. The boots wear properly stripped with acetone, airbrushed with a jillion thin coats of paint and holographic pigment on top of the paint. Sealed with gloss finish twice. The sole was rubber so I could only dye it, not paint:( Mostly Angelus products were used with exception of holo pigment. They have tiny imperfections around the sole, inner heel has not a perfect gradient- airbrush simply couldn't reach there.
