Stefano Pilati YSL 2012 Resort RUNWAY Poppy Structured dress

RUNWAY PIECE! This coral poppy YSL dress is STUNNING. From the 2012 Resort/Cruise Collection with Stefano Pilati at the helm. These wild puffy/rehabbed princess sleeves were all over the 2012 collections. This modern take on the classic wiggle dress appeared on the runway in black but the shocking and sultry tomato red is just killer. Silk, cotton blend with a raw silk texture in the weave of the fabric. Size is a FR 38, however this dress has a very very slim fit and is more like a US 2/4. The arm hole is very small, just shy of 5 1/2" across and the pencil skirt is tight: This is intentional, meant to give the dress the desired structure but it does mean that we who are not made with runway model proportions need to size up 👍👍👍 This fits my XS dress form perfectly (bust 34" waist 27" hips 36") but keep in mind she's never had to sit down while wearing it. Flaws: There is one stain on the back of the dress near the hem. Given the structure of the dress and texture of the fabric, it's hard to notice when worn. There's also a small stitch at the base of the zipper on the back of the dress.
