Hi, what brand is this?

Thanks for sending over an offer! This dress is stunning! Is there a reason you’re not disclosing the brand as several also people have asked? I’d, too, like to know before purchasing, which seems reasonable. Thanks!

@ericamichele84 Hi, due to the time and effort it takes to identify the brands used on screen in the shows we do not disclose the brands. This is common with a lot of other stores that sell screen accurate items. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you

@brightstarsbtq thank you, but I’ve purchased a lot of vintage and luxury items on Poshmark over the last two years, and I’ve not seen this in practice. If you not disclosing the brand, how do I know what Poshmark is authenticating and that this is in fact extremely rare as advertised? This doesn’t seem to be a very transparent market practice. Perhaps I should just contact Poshmark and ask them myself unless you’re able to elaborate? Regards, Erica

Ten years*, not two

@ericamichele84 Hi. I understand where you are coming from. There are many other stores that sell As Seen On items that do not disclose the brands. Sometimes it takes days to identify an item and can take weeks if not months to actually source one. Perhaps I am not the seller or store for you.

@ericamichele84 I pride myself on my honesty and that the items I source for my store are Screen Accurate. This dress is over 20 years old and now considered vintage, it is very rarely that this dress comes up for sale on any resale site.
Also you are free to do your own research into the dress and perhaps you will get lucky and find another one.

@brightstarsbtq I understand, but I’m not looking to buy something from “on screen” or however it’s characterized. I’m just looking for a dress. But ask yourself this: would you buy a car from someone without knowing the make and model? How would you even begin your research to validate whether you are paying a fair market price and not being price gouged? Therefore, how do I know that your claims about an item as “extremely rare and vintage” are accurate?
brightstarsbtq
@ericamichele84 I understand where you are coming from but my entire store is marketed as As Seen On Screen. Prices are based on previous solds versions of the items and how hard it takes to source one.
Like I said if you are just looking for a dress this probably isn't the store for you. People who know the items I am selling and are shopping for items that are As Seen On know the value and how rare they are.
