hi! several questions:
1)apart from the discoloration does this dress hag any snags, defects, or other conditions to note
2) Are you able to provide the measurements for this dress. im a size 4, so hesitant if this would actually fit
3) Does the dress tag list the fabric as silk? i ask bc a lot of ppl list satin/polyster as silk.
Thanks a million!!

@celifi65 Hi! Thanks for your interest!
This dress is in storage so if you have a genuine interest, I’ll get it to take measurements.
It’s a size six and the single time I wore it, I was a true six and the fit was form-fitting at bodice, yet comfortable.
I don’t believe there are any snags or blemishes other than what’s pictured, but I can confirm when I get the dress from storage.
Yes, it is 100% (dip-dyed, not printed) silk, which is why there’s discoloration at underarm.

@celifi65 also, I don’t recall content of shell lining, it might be self, or it could be synthetic, I’ll confirm if you’re still interested!

@natnl_trvst Thanks so much for your detailed response!! i truly am interested, its just that the measurements would help me decide if it actually fits me. Ive gotten a lot more hesitant buying vintage w/o the measurements bc so many items vary in measurements even thought they're listed as my size. im in no rush, so if you do happen to have the chance to visit your storage in the near future, im appreciate the measurements and confirmation of the shell lining. Thanks a million!😊

Hi!
I don’t see any snags or additional wear other than what’s pictured!
The lining fabric isn’t listed but appears to be a poly crepe chiffon. Exterior 100% silk
Measurements on the flat:
Strap point to point: 12”
Bust @ underarm: 16” (32)
Waist 10 1/2” down from strap point: 14” (28)
Longest length from top of strap: 46”
Shortest length “ : approx 42”
25” slit from bottom of dress
Hope this helps!

@natnl_trvst Hi thanks so much for the measurements!! Really!! im a little hesitant to purchase rn bc of the bust measurements. Im a 34 sometimes even a 32 cup, so i might not fill a dress with that pit to pit measurement 🥲 I'll go through the dresses I have and compare their measurements after work today

@celifi65 no problem at all. When I wore this I was a 34 a. And it was form-fitting. Also, the draped cowl neckline overlay makes it pretty forgiving. Again, hope that’s helpful!

@natnl_trvst sorry for the addtl question, but have you tried removing the underarms stains or did you have it dry cleaned after wearing? Still thinking about this dress and debating to purchase it. lollll

@celifi65 I wore it once many years ago and I believe I had it dry cleaned at the time. I can give it a try with a damp cloth and let you know how that goes.
