A very fine and elegant gold and floral leaf pattern. Designed by Ethel Young, circa late 1950s - early 1960s. Jackie Kennedy style. Excellent condition! Clean and gorgeous. My guess is that this hat has been treasured and worn on special occasions. No condition issues to note. SIZE: Measures about 7.5” diameter (adjustable / shapeable W/L) by 4.5” H. I’d estimate hat size at S (to M), 6 5/8 to 6 7/8, depending on how one would like to wear it. Most pillbox hats are designed to be worn atop the head, pinned towards the back. This one is somewhat taller, and thus I believe meant to fit onto the head a bit (without the need for pins) rather than just worn atop.
