balindatx I just came back from Italy and bought the same bag in Venice. I bought a blue one for €29. Is this miss marked at 180 dollars ? I really like this one but would only offer 34 at most

sunnies_n_bags @balindatx it is not a miss mark. Everyone on this platform offers ridiculous lowballs and there's inconsiderate and disrespectful offers, so the actual number is nothing more than an MSRP . It's not just the "cost" of the item. There are factors to be taken into consideration such as exchange rates, transaction fees for the agent, wire fees, customs duties, and air shipping all of which are very steep and have an incidence on the price a seller needs to get for the item.

sunnies_n_bags @balindatx Then there's a 20% commission taken from the seller. It's not the same going on a trip and finding an item and bringing it home without any additional costs. I import lots of items at the same time, so the shipping can be divided into a number of items, making it more cost-effective. I tipically offer my items at half price, and they get sold out; once in a blue moon, I do a crazy sale, and I go down to 75% off.
