This is a beautiful handblown vintage glass vase, almost jar shaped.  It has a beautiful aqua blue color!  I think, this piece was most likely blown in West Virginia by Blenko. I still cannot find the Blenko model number of this shape.  It is possible it was produced by one of several other West Virginia glass companies, such as Pilgrim, Kanawha or Rainbow, perhaps a studio glass artist.  In any case, it is a beautiful handblown piece, evident by the prominent pontil on the bottom and was probably produced in the 1960s to 1980s.   It stands nearly 13 inches high with a mouth diameter of about 5 inches.  It has good substantial weight to it. This piece is in excellent vintage condition.  There are no nicks, chips, cracks or flea bites anywhere on it.  There is no water residue or haze anywhere on it. The color is brilliant and strong. It is a gorgeous piece. This is a beautifully done piece from a true artisan.
