This backless evening gown belonged to my grandmother, my family called it "The Mermaid Dress" as the pattern looks like mermaid/fish scales. It's quite a stunning dress with a sheath fit, seam at waist, high boat neck, backless with back zip, two wide slits, and hook & eye closure. Some aging due to vintage nature, lining becoming detached, metallic threads poke out throughout, threads worn in a few small spots- see photos.
