Newly sewn Ladies Dress using 1950’s true (new old stock) Vintage Rayon Striped print fabric. High thread count with the feel of soft silk. No modern day rayon fabric can compare! I machine prewashed and dried the fabric and it came 1950’s Rust Red Striped Dress Newly Sewn from true Vintage fine weave Rayon fabric using Vintage Simplicity pattern #3384. Light and Flowy. features a front band with Vintage buttons (new old stock). Dress is shown with a bouffant slip underneath which is NOT included with the dress. It is available on Amazon. The dress only looks correct with a bouffant slip underneath to flare out the full skirt. Please inquire about the slip and I’ll be happy to send you information. It’s very affordable. Please see body measurements to determine if this dress will fit you. It is based on 1950’s sizing so I converted the measurements to modern US Misses size 8. Size measurements: Bust: 36” (not bra size…this is measurement at fullest part of bust) Waist: 28” Hip: 38” (this dress has a full skirt so not too important) Back length: neck base to waist: 16 1/2” Finished back length of dress: 44” This was sewn from a 1950’s pattern size 16, however this is NOT a modern day size 16. It is closer to a size 8. I sew all my dresses myself. I use vintage notions and fabric when I can. Care instructions: Machine on delicate cycle or hand wash. Machine dry or hang to dry. Iron as needed. 100% rayon
