Vintage from the 1950s A LORD CALVERT wrist watch from circa 1950 in truly amazing condition. The solid stainless steel case measures 30mm in width, therefore I have noted it to be unisex in size, although the watch was originally intended for a man. The case is flawless, as is the original dial and hands, the watch hardly appears to have been worn. This was a presentation watch to someone in 1950, possibly the reason it was hardly worn, this is the case I have found with many presentation watches. There is some light engraving on the case back. The crystal was replaced during restoration. The movement is a very nice quality SWISS Felsa AUTOMATIC, the movement is 17 jewels and is signed CALVERT WATCH CO. SWISS. The watch is presented on a new 16mm leather strap. TPG Vintage Watches has conducted a full restoration of this watch, the movement has been serviced and calibrated to achieve the best possible time keeping for a vintage watch.
