These are great vintage, Navajo, Native American turquoise earrings! These are sterling silver and maintain their original aged patina. If you like a brighter silver look, they can be polished. The top starts with a domed concho with a push back earring post. It is done in a shadowbox style and set with turquoise stones. It has a Native American symbol stamping decorating it. Then comes pair of sterling silver feathers hanging down. Lightweight and comfortable to wear. Great Native American accent for your ears!
Native American symbolism of feathers: They are important symbol of way of life. It represents freedom, power, trust, wisdom, honor, strength, and more. A feather was given as a sign of respect, honor, personal accomplishment, achievement for the tribe and represents a symbol of strength.

I lightly polish my vintage jewelry and silver as some people like the aged patina. I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
