This never works for me- no matter how I try to set up the poll even after support has given me advice, it will not allow me to create one. Doesn’t matter if it’s my iPhone or a web browser. So bummed.

Please update the app to allow sellers access to create a poll prior to starting a show! Starting a poll in front of an audience is rough and time consuming. If we could start the poll prior, we can see what our shoppers want prior to going live!

After your show ends n it tells you how many ppl n peak # of avg visits etc...howong show was n tl $ ppl etc...It that info stored somewhere? People stop by my live and leave no chat no hearts don’t even help me get more people in live? I bought over 400 items from different fellow closets and help in lives with technical support and sharing to try and get more people in live. Also my share numbers are high why are poshers not shopping my closet? Recently I had to really lower my prices so now it’s like I’m not making a profit after 20%. I’ve tried everything! I continue to help my fellow poshers.😎

@g_sliwinski I spent thousands on here Poshmark over the holiday season. I realize people need the $. It is the people I bought the most from that I have not seen at all. One gal blocked me after I spent $3000 for mostly others and resale. On the last order I paid almost $500 for. I notified her that some of the items were not up to par for the cost and she blocked me after threatening me that she would sue me if I said anything derogatory about her closet.

@g_sliwinski i was having the same issues so i started asking other poshers and they said you have to be consistent with posting , add new items every couple days and you need to purchase something occasionally. I followed this advice and my sales have increased

I was blocked by a seller who liked my stuff and gave a great review to me but then she found item cheaper by another person and when she saw I was reselling she blocked me. Lots of crazy things like that. You have to ignore it and follow posh rules and be kind to all and let the ppl that do that its on them. Let them be them and you do you an continue to be kind and considerate. Most ppl are nice but a sm few are jealous and petty IGNORE and stay away frm them

I usually do mine as a reference poll. I'll let them know what's in the show clothes, bags, and jewelry and let them pick what they want to see. Also, I'll reference what the show is about if it's a clear out or bundle show. I do wish we could do this before we start our shows. I do feel some people leave as you're setting up the poll.

@joycesylvia368 I got one sale from a fried and one from a posh ambassador the rest came from new people. So follow new people and give notice on lives.I’m not profitable yet one posher wrote my prices are to high in my chat so now customers may see that. I’ve already lowered my prices so much I won’t make money? If fit I would keep. For the 20% we should be getting more buyers. 3.00 lives are not helping us and some items I bought were fake or so damaged can’t wear.🥰

@crabfam @g_sliwinski - that last was to you -- Mean people block. When they block us, we can't share or buy from THEM, so they shoot themselves in the foot. They should communicate. I once had someone block me for a tiny unnoticed flaw on something she bought. I tried to apologize and offer a refund but couldn't because she blocked me and trashed me. She would've gotten a total refund if she'd just communicated.

@g_sliwinski I am sorry for what you have gone through. One thing I would say is don't change your entire closet based off one posher. When I first started, I got advice from several veterans and collectively it changed everything. So many wonderful sellers and just good, caring people. A great tip I was given.... never mark anything below $10. Most likely you are going to wind up dropping the price anyway ( most likely). I mixed that w/ another great tip... If you have already dropped TBC..

@woodum Yea about 3 days ago stayed up really late helping a posher in NY with technical issues I was very active in the chat encouraging sales. I even bought something’s and stacked an item to try and get someone else to give her a sale. I’m very disappointed times 10 that not one person shared her items or live. She even said if prices to high send her an offer. She was so nice. Finally my friend joined and shared but that’s it.

@applesas0223 When I got trained to go Live, Poshmark was sending out notifications of their online training classes and, once you attended a class on Zoom, you were then qualified to go Live. This was during Beta phase. I don’t know what they do now, but if you reach out to Poshmark, they will definitely have the answer!

@g_sliwinski my sales have drastically dropped since the “ on line” shows have started… they have super low starts and to follow suite is like giving my stuff away IF anyone shows up; found show to be non productive and people looking for garage sale prices. I do believe the shows have lowered the standards of selling on Poshmark and turned it into a garage sell site…

@g_sliwinski May I ask do you do lives with co hosts? also since i recently started using the feature where it automatically shares my closet, auto follows anyone that follows me, auto shares anyone that shares mine and my sales have increased straight front the closet but i also dolives with co hosts and at different times. not everyone who is around at night is around during the day - Also if you are ever interested in co hosting let me know!!! its an amazing way to grow everything

It would be a lot easier if the poll was available while you’re creating your live show and then you just hit run Poll It’s just a lot easier than having people watch you create a pole during your live show! anyway you can incorporate that feature? lol I want to do poles I want to go live 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 I’ve done a few together with someone who knew what she was doing lol and couple silent had a decent crowd few times I’ve sold stuff in shows with 100 + people but I really want to do a whole bunch with theme and a box build off etc with a hard hat and tool belt a Halloween show etc I have the personality to engage for hours on end !!!

@g_sliwinski I went to your closet, shared a few items and noticed you’ve missed answering a few people’s questions. Like the $18 blue bracelet, someone asked the diameter. It would help a lot if you tagged them in a response to answer their question. A statement like “make me an offer and I’ll consider it” gets the same point across without the negativity. Again, I hope my research for you helps you be successful on Poshmark.

@g_sliwinski others sharing your closet or items does absolutely nothing. sharing others items in your shows does nothing. interaction with other poshers does nothing.... you need to constantly share your items yourself.... like several thousand shares every day. crosslist, check key words, delist and relist...and check your closet... if you have a bunch of low sell through items.... they just won't sell. dropping your prices to next to nothing is only going to hurt your business further.

Poshmark does Closet Clear Out on Fridays and Sundays and will give buyers $4.99 shipping for items priced $10 and over. Definitely need ability to do more before the actual show starts and a reversal mode.. Also ability for shoppers move the chat and zoom in like on another platform. When I’m in my phone the chat blocks items so I can hardly see what’s being shown.

We sellers give 20% of our sales to PM which means PM Should Be doing 20% of the work to help us sell our items. I definitely feel like there's room for improvement here. How does Poshmark help us to sell our items? We even take a hit when we make an offer and send w/discounted shipping option with it. We are taking a hit of 35% or more after only a 10% offer to likers 😳😕

Spend that $ on social media ads or improve inventory, not buying crap in a misguided attempt of thinking that will obligate them to buy things from ur closet that they don't want or need, and thats frankly, overpriced. Have u looked up what ur selling under the "sold" filter here + Google lens to see what others sold for? The seller fee is not a convincing argument for high prices, just means u need to source better.

Its just a way poshmark invented to artificially increase the amount of time people spend on their website so engagement looks good to investors. Use that time improving listings, inventory, marketing, crosslisting, learning. Delete negativity from ur listings, guilt tripping is not a business plan.

My goal on posh is not to become a professional seller. I’m selling items most hand picked from designer directly and many very expensive that won’t fit me now because of going through Cancer. If fit I would keep. I have more to add but want to sell these items first. Once everything is sold I will just be a buyer! People are not being negative they need sales! Fellow poshers put a lot of time into closets so want to make a profit. Some trying to make extra income I stack.

Yes alot of trolls on this site.I haven’t always received good treatment when buying on posh and was even sent a fake Chanel handbag with food in it and paint splatter on it. Still didn’t get my money back. Quick listings are risky. No matter what the price is should arrive wearable. Most my items were hand picked direct from designer very expensive. My Chanel shoes where about 1400.00 from Chanel store in NY wore once to a black tie event in Washington finally let go for 200.00 with box.

@lindap226 what is cohosting, I was doing all shows alone. Starting my items at$6, was on live shows for 3 straight hours. Has like 5 people in room all the times, and end up with $0 sales. So sad . Did so much work and preparing without any profit. No motivation any more 😢

@milascreations Oh no i’m so sorry. Co hosting is when you are doing a live show with someone else as well. I often offer to do that with newer sellers or sellers who are just not as comfortable doing them. Its a great way to build your following and make more money. Id be happy to help if you are interested. You can come into my show as a co host and sell your items as well or just hang out . its fun and i have great supporters

Can’t give a live show until my eyes heal. I am so afraid someone will say something not so nice about the fact I can’t give the materials in the items. I have been giving silent shows and that’s all I can do until my eyes heal which I hope will be in a couple of weeks

You schedule it,,You select Silent show. Then it will confirm if you want your sound off or not.
You load your 50 items
You decide if "Buy it now" or "Auction". You click Start at show start time. Its same and still live but with no sound. You can communicate with buyers via chat. Ive done 3. no sales but ppl came in, i greeted them & they shared my stuff out which resulted in sales next day. Im still learning.

I click on each item and run it. Ppl like ❤ your items. I run the hearted items first. After each item I ask audience in chat to pls share out the items. This puts it on web for all to see. You get more web viewers during a live or sikent show. They are both considered live but one is silent w/ sound ur voice off. If im wrong or mis spoke someone pls tell me. Thank you. Exactly! Amazon advertises a lot. If we are paying A 20% cut Posh should be bringing bigger buys to the table.I’m here to make money,recently took a big loss on a pair of Chanel shoes. We should not get messages to lower our prices if the 20% is not being lowered. Need better shipping prices for the revenue we bring.
