This is one of my loveliest glamour diva gowns! It was a limited run by Trashy Lingerie in Hollywood, CA which I purchased in 1999 to wear to Viva Las Vegas and is now nearly impossible to find. It is in perfect condition with no missing buttons, snags, or rips. The original description from trashy.com read. "Shine like a movie star in this golden age 1920's-style robe. It is the ultimate in elegance. The gold satin shimmers as you glide through the room while the kicktail bottom flows gracefully behind. The form-fitting waist closes with velvet buttons that match the velvet collar and cuffs. " Adding to that description, it's a real showstopper and everyone turned to look at me when I walked into any room wearing that. Two hook and eye closures help to keep the strain off of the satin because there is a lot of it and is sumptuous. Shoulders are lightly padded. As seen on burlesque star Dita Von Teese who modeled it for them. I have two other Trashy gowns from that era which I will list later. It is labeled size Medium but please go by the measurements. My mannequin is nearly 6 feet tall and is a size 6, for reference.
