I brought this back from Florence in 1991 or so- bought it from a shop outside of the Dante Museum :-). It is 100% silk, about 34 inches square. I think it is inspired by the Gucci scarves. The border is actually a dark navy and the silk is kind of embossed. Lovely. And never used :-(
