Vintage 50s Dress With Shrug

This dress is true vintage with a metal zipper in back. I believe it is circa 1950s. It is a coral pink The material might be linen, or raw silk; it is textured with linear irregularities throughout. The bust has pleats down the front, 6 decorative buttons, and a loopy trim that ends in a flat bow. There is a belt and pockets. The shrug has 3/4 sleeves and it does not have a closure. There is no brand label, but there's a small size 12 tag sewed in it. However, it isn't a today's size 12. It fits my size 6 mannequin pretty well, it could possibly go up to a size 8. No stretch. THE TAG SAYS SIZE 12 BUT I PUT SIZE 6 IN THE LISTING SO THAT PEOPLE WOULDN'T BE MISLED. Bust measures 34"-35" I don't think it could accommodate a 36" bust. Waist: 29"-30" But the belt will only fit up to a 28" waist. Hips 38" Length from shoulder: 39" Shrug pit to pit: 18" It has a few small flaws, not bad for its age! The seam on the right side above the belt has come out over about 2 inches. There's a small opening in the stitching where the left pocket meets the dress. The stitching in the hem in front has come out over about 6 inches, and someone "repaired" it with a staple... the kick pleat in back has some seam issues that might be a bit hard to fix, but honestly, since it's vintage, it's not an unacceptable flaw. There are a few black small stains on the shrug... I have not tried to remove them, yet. I may work on this dress if I get some time, but for now, it is "as is".
