oliver is a military trouser that was patterned from an old pant that has been worn down to the threads. the fabric is a yarn-dyed cloth woven in Japan with a beautiful slub in the weave. could be mistaken for the original fabric used for military wear from WWII era. In fantastic condition - I bought new a couple months ago but they were a little small on me so I bought a size up - I normally wear 33 but these fit a 30-32 in my opinion - I could wear them but they were just a little too snug in the waist for me
