handcrafted
Posh Team Tip: "Hand Crafted" and "Artisan" are official brands on Poshmark, but handmade is not.

Make sure your photos are zoomed in, easy to see and show all sides.
Explain how item was made and what you used to make it.
Give examples of how item could be worn or used, or displayed in their home.

In the description give multiple ways words can be spelled. ie. hand made, handmade, hand-made.
List item’s materials (acrylic, wool, cotton) and washing instructions.
Include measurements and who could wear the item

if you are a clothing upcycler, you need to use BRAND: HAND CRAFTED.
You CAN NOT list the clothing brand in the description.
You CAN include the clothing brand in your photos.

Hello! I believe that consistently listing new items helps, and also sharing your closet out often. Taking lots of clear pictures of each listing is a good thing too. I have heard that the picture should be mainly just the item with no surrounding items, so it shows clearly what is being sold. Happy Poshing! 😀

Tip 1: I recommend using as many photos as possible of your hand crafted item in your listing. Tip 2: Show it from different angles and how it can be used. Tip 3: I also recommend using terms such as "one of a kind" "gift idea" "custom made" or even "made to order" and then explain what is needed for a made to order request. 📸📸📸

Tip 1- Find a share group that motivated you and support your craft.
Tip 2- Don't forget measurements and customs orders
3- If you handmade your items, you can add them to the boutique category

Make sure you have listed everything you used to complete your items and don’t forget to have fun 🤩 and a great support system ❤️ while you do the things you love 💕

Use brand “hand crafted” or “artisan,” post clear pics from different angles/sides, share your closet, search brand “hand crafted“ to find other closets to follow, say hi and introduce yourself! Poshmark is all about building community. 👋❤️

Stay consistent. I didn’t begin finding traction (or any attention at all), until I had enough listings that they’d begin cross promoting one another. Then suddenly I have made friends on Posh who may see something they love and will share my work with their social media. I mean, it just takes showing up even when it feels like you’re screaming into an abyss.

Provide great customer service to customers, be responsive and ship quickly , this may help with getting excellent reviews and hopefully, repeat customers!

Tip1️⃣ Take clear, closeup pics with good lighting to showcase your items. Tip2️⃣ Use tags that describe material, style or purpose of your items like Ceramic, Cotton, Hand Knit, Coastal, Gifts, Wedding etc. Tip3️⃣ Share your items to followers, Posh parties, & social media. Share the Posh love by sharing other Poshers' beautiful hand crafted items. Wishing all Poshmark artisans much success in this new Hand Crafted Community. 🎨 Lisa, The Artsy Outfitter

@angmomto2 Oh my gosh! I totally have over thought this so many times. I really wish that Poshmark would make a Handmade category so it would be clear. Especially, since Etsy has made so many changes.
angmomto2
@supermadstar They do have Hand Crafted as a category and handmade is a style word.

My top three tips are
1. Put the word Handmade in the title of your listing.
2. If you are a handmade jewelry seller or you create small items, invest in a light box! It will make taking photos easier and make them look much more professional.
3. Try to list regularly.
Happy Poshing! 💖

@angmomto2 great tips!

Don’t use “busy” backgrounds in your pictures. I see so many pieces of jewelry on such busy printed backgrounds that you can’t tell what they’re actually featuring.
Stay active and present in the social community. Join share groups, hit blues for new followers and share, share, share!
Continuously rearrange your closet, post new items and make offers. If I see a stale closet that never changes I move on.
HAPPY POSHING!! I’m so happy to have this hand crafted closet! 💕💕💕👏👏👏

@imemineyours61 one of the hardest thing to get an artist to do is exactly… art flows from the heart, but I get your point, now I’ll need to go back and check my upcycle, up cycle upcycled ,posh on girlfriend
kreativekristen
My tip for the day, if your someone that listed a lot of things that are prints , add the specific theme to the bottom of your listing so when shoppers ( like me) can filter that one word… what words, butterfly, flower, dogs , cats, coffee. So many tips ( I ve been selling and buying on posh for over 12 years, I host a handcrafted artist share event the first Friday of each month ,posh on girlfriend

Mention if your materials are made in the USA
Many buyers who understand how jobs are created and how they are dissolved search for this term.
poshinglyyours2
@handcrafted: can you explain the difference between handmade and handcrafted; also what does artisan refer to? Is there somewhere in the posh info to find them?
