Early-19th Century English Regency Marine/Ship Mahogany & Ivory Barometer c.1810

Fully Functional Excellent Condition Antique English Regency Period Marine/Ship Bow-Fronted Stick Barometer, circa 1810. Imported from London, England, U.K. Solid well figured mahogany throughout with original ivory scales and accoutrements. Having a hinged trap door opening to reveal both the fully functional thermometer and barometric weather conditions (Fitzroy Barometer) inclusive of scale with sliding vernier, reading fair, set fair, very dry, change, rain, much rain and stormy. Thermometer reading up to 200 degrees. Terminating in original brass weighted reservoir. Without restorations with the exception of a new manometer refilled with mercury. (mercury not included) Includes manometer and antique solid brass English Rococo Style mount. ***Due to USPS shipping restrictions the manometer/glass tubular vessel will be included but not the mercury.
