Music Jewelry Box, Handcrafted in Sorrento, Italy with highest wood quality. The hand inlaid cover features a violin, a trumpet and a music sheet surrounded by a finely inlaid floral motif. The box itself is made of a wonderful deep blue stained burl elm or maple veneer framed by a solid mahogany strip around the edge. The interior of the cover is also mahogany. Inside, the jewelry section is covered with red velvet. The 18 notes mechanism is covered and protected by acrylic and it plays Isle of Capri music. It functions very well and is in wonderful condition besides couple of small scratches on the corners by wear. The lid serves as a switch to start and stop the music.
