Antique Bow Brooch of .925 Silver with Jade and Marcasite

Stunning antique bow brooch made of .925 silver, rich dark green jade and marcasite. The brooch has the town mark of 925, indicating that the silver is of the highest quality and meets the standard. The jade is flawless, and the marcasite embellishes the piece, thus achieving artistic excellence. Marcasite has been used on jewelry since the ancient Greeks. It was particularly popular in the eighteenth century, the Victorian Era, and the Art Nouveau period. This piece belonged to my mother. previously owned by my grandmother. So, I believe this gorgeous brooch is from the 1920s. It has aged beautifully. My photos don't come close to portraying the true beauty of this piece.
