Vintage Men's Burberrys Kingston long Trench Coat - circa 1980s

This is a "like new" vintage men's trench coat in the long Kingston style in olive green - a color not available on the Burberrys website. All buttons are original, the linings (sleeves) are in perfect shape. No stains or tears anywhere on the coat or the linings. Although vintage, it doesn't appear to have been worn much. The coat is the famous gabardine cotton developed by the original inventor Thomas Burberry and patented in 1888. These trench coats were worn by soldiers in the world wars, hence the attachment rings (brass) on the waist belt to hang canteens and other items. The color is best represented in the photos of the upper back and the sleeve of the coat (sorry - lighting issues). Comes with a 100% wool Burberrys zip-in liner in the traditional Burberrys check. Size 42 - L. A timeless style. An excellent find.
