Vintage 1960's Whistling Hot Pot - Tea Pot - Bird Kettle Made in JAPAN This is a mid century Whistling Hot Pot or Tea Pot decorated with pretty little birds happily perched on branches of cherry blossoms. The pot has a heating element inside to boil water. When the water filled pot reaches a boil it makes a whistling or singing sound through the little steam hole on the lid. The lid is decorated with a three dimensional bird sitting near the steam hole. This pot comes with its electrical cord and is in good working condition.
