Hello, at the bottom seam there’s a section where it looks different in the middle. Is that a rip/tear at the seam?

Hi, …in photo #5 on the back side of the bag, just above/left of where the stitching of the madewell tag is, there’s a black-ish line. Is that a pen mark? Cut in the leather?
