Gorgeous barrette! White/ivory base with insets of pastel "mother-of-pearl" flower, leaves, and border strips. Length is 3.5" long. The top is in perfect condition . . . Inside edges of the underside had a little bit of silver come off. The clasp is perfect and strong with great "spring" when opening. It has Alpaca, Mexico stamped on bottom, but I bought it at a specialty jewelry store at the Miami International airport many years ago. I have always LOVED this barrette. It's a winner for sure!
