Well used Hamilton watch - you will need a new band for it - we no longer have the box but we purchased it new from the store - there was a red circle around the numbers but it has faded with time so you no longer see it - there was a small tool that came with the watch to change the band but we no longer have it so you may need to have the store change the band for you - This is a well used watch which means scratches etc from daily wear and is priced accordingly

matrix222 I don’t understand there’s no way that the red markings between 12 and three would fade. It was either custom-made without the red markings or no that’s the only answer.

cloudysparkles @matrix222 it did - my husband has another watch that did the same thing (different brand) it was sent back to Germany for repair under warranty - I guess he didn’t notice early enough on this one to get it repaired or it didn’t bother him as much - I suggest if it makes you uneasy that you do not purchase it - thanks maybe google and see if others have had this issue in the past with this specific model watch - he bought it at the watch store in Bayshore Mall in Ottawa

cloudysparkles @matrix222 I just googled myself and people have commented that that red bit “fades in no time” so it’s a thing - this watch is priced to reflect its condition
