Our designs are printed in-house on sustainably grown and ethically harvested US cotton. This avian tote features VTG British wood engraved art of a Coracopsis tropical bird. Coracopsis, known as the Lesser Vasa Parrot and the Greater Vasa Parrot, belongs to the family Psittacidae. Native to the African continent, particularly Madagascar, these parrots are more muted in coloring compared to their vibrant relatives. Their plumage is typically dark-grey to black, and they are medium-sized. Unique among parrots, their bare facial skin and elongated bodies set them apart. Despite their size, they are not classified as parakeets.
