Handmade wool sleepsack. 24- month size. One of a kind!

Handmade (by me!) wool sleep sack. I felted an old plaid stadium blanket (Ottawa Valley woolen mills—i incorporated the original tag) and cut it up to make a back-up sleep sack for just-in-case of midnight laundry issues with our Disana boiled wool sleeping bag. I am not a professional seamstress, so some details are lacking. Most notably, it is unlined. And the corners are not fully closed. But the shoulder seams are stitched flat and i did put a cotton zipper cover at the chin. It’s modeled closely after the Disana size 2 sack (which is for 6-24 months) so that’s where i got the size for the listing. I used a hidden dress zipper because that’s what i had handy in the correct length, so it’s not heavy duty. You might see the large stitches where i basted on the zipper; but i also machine-stitched it (twice, concentrically) so rest assured that it’s secure. Red, yellow, green, blue plaid. If you have a cabin in the mountains or at the lake, you’ll get bonus points when you bring this for your baby to sleep in ;) Smoke-free, pet-free, low-scent home.
