2X Host Pick Hand Made OOAK Four Piece Outfit

This outfit is my original work and no pattern notes were kept. I have no plans to duplicate it. I used about two miles of I Love This Cotton (100%) fingering weight yarn in chocolate brown and cream. The cute little tank dress uses connected stitches throughout the bodice and the back is also a solid fabric using the Tunisian Simple stitch. The sides are done in a modified Tunisian lace stitch which allows for fantastic stretch and ventilation. The skirt section starts around the hip and flares out, it will rise on a twirl. measurements for the dress are: 34" under bust, 32" waist and 36" overall length. The oversized top is worked in a lacy, open stitch with a square neckline. It's just enough to offer some protection from the sun without trapping too much heat. It measures 40" wide throughout and 24" long. I still had a little bit of yarn left at this point, so I whipped up a cute bucket hat and a little cross body purse to match.
