Lightweight with a supportive backboard. Padded straps, two small side zipper pockets. 3 external pockets; one large (where the logo is printed- see photo) and two smalll side pockets that are great for water bottles. One easy access, zipper pocket at the top of pack; prefect for a phone or gps device. Inside is large with two smalller zipper pockets. Never been used.
