These vehicles were made in England by the Lledo Plc.
The first vehicle is a Zerolene 1911 Chain Drive Tank-Truck. STandard Oil purchased the South's first tank truck in 1911. It was built in Louisville, Kentucky and featured a riveted tank and attached bucket box for measuring cans. It has a red cab, black trailer and grey fuel tank. The second vehicle is a Standard Oil Announcer Car which became a familiar sight in California at major events. Crowds visiting the U.S.S. Constitution in LA, the opening of the Yosemite-Wawona Tunnel and Red Bluff Rodeo were all greeted by announcements from Standard Oil Cars. The car was red with grey speakers.
The 3rd vehicle is a Red Crown 1927 Gasoline Truck. The Spirit of St. Louis was fueled by this type of truck for Charles Lindbergh's historic flight to Paris. The truck is red with black bottom. All these vehicles measure 3 1/2" and are in the original boxes.
