Vintage 1960s Poole Pottery England Signed Black With Drip Glaze 10" Vase This beautiful piece of history has the dolphin cartouche this studio has been known from since the symbol's introduction in 1952. It also carries the artist's mark in white. The vase has a striking matte black base dotted with stunning orange/red drips of glaze in an abstract design. Founded in England in 1973, Poole Pottery went through "reorganization" in the 2000s and emerged under the control of Lifestyle Group Ltd. The Poole Pottery factory now operates at Middleport Pottery in Burslem, Stoke on Trent. The vase is just over 10" tall and the opening is 5 1/2". From a Smoke Free Environment.
