Very cool old vintage Stetson Stratoliner size 7. Ready to wear. It is in overall amazing condition for its age with the sweatband leather still very nice...not at all brittle. Hat has some staining mostly on crown, and lightly under the brim, but I could not find any bites. The felt is soft to the touch and a testament to these vintage hats. The label that reads May Co. is pretty faint so I can only make out what looks to be $10. Hatbox has a water stain on one side but is in pretty good condition. The inside is in excellent shape. 4" crown / 2.5 brim May Co. was a prominent department store chain in the United States, particularly in the mid-20th century. The company was known for selling high-quality clothing and accessories, including hats.
