American Duchess “Mae” in Black size 8 Get your Edwardian on with these very good condition American Duchess “Mae” shoes in Black size 8. These are all leather uppers and leather soles. I tried but am not able to wear the pointier toes, so these have been worn a few times as I tried but I have had to give up and am selling them after only a few wears. Comes with the original replacement heel pieces. The only problem is the elastic on the left shoe has lost its stretch. It can be tightened with sewing. As the company says (and I have found to be true) their size 8 really is a standard size 8 (I tried to order larger to see if that would help my toes, but the shoes were just too big overall). They are really lovely shoes and I hate to give them up, but… No returns or exchanges.
