Dalton Cashmere Applique Floral Black Cardigan Sweater Vintage 50s 60s Rare S M

Absolutely stunning one of a kind Dalton cashmere floral applique sweater from the 1950s or 1960s. This sweater was hand appliqued with silk trim, grosgrain ribbon, and beading. Gorgeous and unique floral detailing on this rare vintage sweater. This sweater is a true jet black. I've collected these sweaters over the years and have never seen another all black appliqued sweater. Elegant and versatile - can be dressed up or down. No size tag attached, but this was likely a vintage size large. Based on measurements, more like a modern small or medium. Please see approximate flat lay measurements for best fit. This is in really beautiful vintage condition - rare for these cashmere sweaters. Previous owner repaired a small hole with a stitch or two near the left sleeve hem - see last picture. There was one other small hole disclosed by the previous seller, but I was not able to find it when I received the sweater. Just examined it carefully and still cannot find it (so must be tiny!), but please take note. Also, see a tiny scratch on the silk trim under left front flower (see pic 6).
