Authentic HERMES HAUT A COURROIRE HAC 32 Birkin Cognac brown satchel

The Haut à courroies (HAC) is Hermès' oldest bag design and the blueprint for the Birkin. When Hermès was still primarily a saddlery, the HAC was designed as a sturdy and practical way to carry saddles and riding boots. This iconic HAC 32cm tote was made by Hermes Paris in 1996 from Chevre leather. Chevre Mysore, named after the Indian city, is currently Hermès’ most commonly-used Goat leather. Due to its durability and scratch-resistance, Chevre Mysore is very frequently used as the interior leather to line bags. It replaced Chevre de Coromandel, which had a slightly larger grain and more pronounced spine. Comes with clochette, padlock and keys.
