Vintage old stock from the Best Plastics Factory in Pawtucket RI produced in the 1960s. They used only genuine DuPont Lucite The factory produced this style in several colors as seen in the book "Plastic Bangles" Tortoriello / Lyons Schiffer Pub. 2005. The yellow & white striped bangles are harder to find as not as many in this color combo were made. The process was very interesting in at the colors were extruded meaning the machinery allowed the yellow to be shot through the white. Unfortunately all the machines are boarded up behind walls now. This is the widest that the yellow & white were made. It measures approx. 1 3/8" wide with an inside diameter a hair over 2 1/2". Softly domed walls create a great look.
