Hello, is the velvet in good condition and not broken? Could you please provide more close pictures of the velvet quality? Is the armpit to armpit measurement exactly 15”?

@sylwiaruschel Good morning! I will be home shortly and will double-check my measurements. The velvet is deep pile and in great condition. I will provide pictures and re check it all over.

@sylwiaruschel Okay, so the top of the dress is slightly deceptive. I wear a 32 D, some rare brands a 34 C, and this fits. I held it as flat as I could and taped down my fabric measuring tape, and pit to pit is 15.5" pulled taught. The bust is very well tailored in the cup area. It could use steam, I have had it in storage for the last 6 years after dry cleaning.

@sylwiaruschel There is a small fabric crush, as shown on the left side. It is less than half a centimeter long or across. This is not really visible to the naked eye. I did my best to show the velvet, but black velvet is harder to photograph. If you have any other questions, I will do my absolute best to answer!

@akstegs Thank you for the information. Unfortunately the dress is tight in the brest area . I have 34 D. Maybe is was altered because the waist is so close in size to the size of armpit to armpit. I have similar dress of the same size 8 from Victor Costa and waist is 14” and armpit to armpit 17”.

@sylwiaruschel Wow! How wild is that? It's possible.. but it would have to have been done immaculately because there's zero evidence of alterations. I wear a formal dress 8 nowadays. I adore that you already have some Victor Costa, such an iconic dress maker! My measurements are 32", 28", 39" I was curious enough I measured the pit to pit from the back of the dress instead of the front, and it's 16", the tailored cup area in front bunches enough that it's 15.5" taut if that makes sense.

@sylwiaruschel You would know best, but just in case you feel like trying anyways, I'll send you a private offer! I would love this to go to someone who would really appreciate it for how special of a dress it is ❤️
