Hello! It is a really cute skirt! However, at the moment I am pet sitting for a friend on the opposite side of town and I need to have my husband take the measurement! Give me an hour or so and I'll get back with you with that measurement! Hang on! Nancy

Hi, I do have to apologize it took me so long to reply, but we had an ice storm in Michigan and my internet services were out yesterday, so I just saw your message this morning. ANYWAY (LOL), my husband just measured the waist and it's 16 1/2" layed flat from side seam to side seem...so total waist measures 33" around unstretched.
