7 carat Pear Cut Faceted Ametrine set in Sterling

Ametrine is made of quartz, as is Amethyst, Citrine, and Prasiolite (along with others). What differentiates is the chemical that gives the stone it's color. Once in awhile, you get a specimen where they intermingle and the result is lovely. There are two small flaws on the stone, which can be seen in the photos. Otherwise, this is a beautiful, unique piece.
