70s Rare Blenko Glass XL Ashtray / Catchall in Wheat (Amber) Made Only 6 Years

This Outstanding Blenko Glass Party Ashtray is a rarity, given it was only available from 1974 to 1978 and then again in 1980. It appeared in their sales catalogs as item number 732 for that short span of years and was then retired. The weighty piece was handmade using the 'spin' mold process invented by Wayne Husted for Blenko in the 60's. This particular ashtray is in their 'Wheat' color, which is basically a translucent, deep amber hue. It boasts a fascinating swirl and dot pattern perfect for those who love the 'Retro Chic' aesthetic of the 1970's. Add it to your collection today! The ashtray is in excellent vintage condition with light age/use related wear. There are no major flaws detected. I have not touched it up in any way. Size is approximately 2” Tall by 10.5” Across.
