70”x90” Gorgeous Vintage Hand made, Hand Stitched and Hand Embroidered Cotton Quilt. Vintage 1950s, machine pieced, hand quilted, hand embroidered, pink and white quilt measuring 70” x 90” The quilt displayed on a Queen size bed. If you love pink this quilt is for you! Twelve blocks of thin white cotton fabric each approximately fifteen inches are hand embroidered into a 13 inch design, using a pastel pink embroidery thread. All the embroidery is still intact. These embroidered areas are hand quilted around both sides of each row of embroidery. In between the white blocks runs a five inch pink sashing that is hand quilted The back of the quilt is made with a white fabric . This quilt was very well constructed. The color is still vibrant and the hand embroidery and hand quilting, that shows well both front and back, are over the top! It would look great on Twin, Full or Queen size bed. The quilt would certainly be a showstopper in the center of any room. In a new forever home, this quilt could become a family heirloom and is ready to ship.
