80s Does 50s Fit + Flare Sweetheart Neckline Hawaiian Circle Dress

Vintage 1980s Hawaiian-made revival of the post-war Hawaiian fit + flares of the mid 50s. Branded Evergreen Island, marked size S. Modern size M by measurements (below). Black background with tropical foliage and orchid print. Sweetheart neckline. Wide shoulder straps attach with buttons in the back. Each strap has two button holes, so you can let them out if you have a longer top waist measurement. Not long enough to wear crossed in the back. 1950s mid-calf length. Waist is gathered and has natural flare. The bodice comes to a point at the waist and angles up over the hip. Zips up the back. The back is a shirred elastic panel that allows for some stretch.
