80s Handmade 12" Wellie Bear Gang Wilber the Big Game Hunter Scottish Teddy Bear

Up for sale is a sweet little 1980s Laura Grant 12" Wellie Bear Gang bear handcrafted at The Lodge (Rouken Glen Road Glasgow) in Scotland. 'Wilber the Big Game Hunter' is a fully stuffed soft, plush brown bear with fixed neck, arms & legs. He has stunning orange eyes and a hard plastic black nose. His original tag hangs around his neck. He's wearing his original outfit consisting of a red, blue, white & green tartan jacket topped with a matching scarf with the original frayed ends. Little red plastic rain boots (wellies) with a floral design edging the top adorn his feet. To top it off he's sporting an adorable matching tartan rain hat. He like new without any flaws that I can find. The only notable thing is that his boots can be removed (it looks like they were once glued in place). Please see the attached pictures. He came from the estate sale of an adult collector, so it's possible that he was never played with or played with very little. All in all, he's quite the little cutie & would make a darling addition to any bear or doll collection! Make sure to check out the photos & judge for yourself! Stand not included in the sale.
