JOHN ROBERTS cocktail or party dress. Circa 1980s. Made in the USA. Basic black crepe with glitter flocked velveteen on the bodice and sleeves. Figure-hugging sheath style with empire waist, crew neck and short sleeves with heavy shoulder pads. Velveteen ribbon trim highlights the side pleated skirt. Back zipper Unlined. Poly acetate. Dry clean only. Very good vintage condition with no sign of wear. No holes, snags or stains. Smoke free home. Marked size 14 and photographed without pinning on a modern size 14 dress form.
