80s/90s CANVASBACKS Art to Wear Boyfriend Jacket Pink Madras Plaid Patchwork MED

CANVASBACKS by Lutton & Horsfield was a high end brand established in Milwaukee Wisconsin in the mid-1980s. The woman owned-and-operated company specialized in "art to wear" jackets and this one is a great example of their products. Circa 1980s/1990s. Oversized boxy fit and long length. Single breasted with patch pockets and large shoulder pads. Fully lined. Medium weight, non stretch fabric in shocking fuchsia pink and khaki madras type plaid. Abstract print insets on body and pockets. Rayon linen blend with acetate lining. Dry clean only. Excellent vintage condition. No flaws of any kind. Smoke free home. Marked size M, but photographed with tighter fit on a modern size 14 dress form. Photographed with looser fit on a size 6-ish mannequin. Check measurements against something you own to determine fit.
