thebirdcage1980 Hey there, I'm not an expert just learning about statues, right now checking things out about Tara, was trying to find out what's this one symbolizes but that seems to be a statue of Amitayus? I don't really know a lot about Tara nor Amitayus just really like your statue wanted to know what actually symbolizes...

jocelynherna676 @thebirdcage1980 Hello. I’m not an expert on statues either but when I googled the figure it came out as Tara. I came across one that looks exactly like it and the description said Tara statue. I did look up Amitayus and you’re right, there’s a resemblance. According to google, Amitayus is more male form and Tara is feminine. Idk but my statue looks more feminine than male. Again, I’m not an expert either but if you find out lmk. Thank for bringing it my attention

thebirdcage1980 @jocelynherna676 yes,that's Amitayus.I'm not an expert myself, I have been searching for Meditation Bhudda when came across your Medicine Bhudda I purchased last week I couldn't not to purchase it, it's so beautifully made.I love that statue so I keep going on your poshmark hoping to find Meditation Bhudda 😊.

thebirdcage1980 @jocelynherna676 Amitayus statue looks so nice I was convinced that's Tara I'm also interested in I never heard of Amitayus before just never seen Tara sitting in a lotus position so wanted to find out what does it symbolize, gosh there are so many statues every each symbolizes something different you just kind of want to know what does it symbolize before you get it. I love Medicine Bhudda from you. Thank you!

thebirdcage1980 @jocelynherna676 ugh so sorry I didn’t mean to educate you or anything like that I'm sorry if that's how this sounded like. This statue is beautiful and I love the one I already purchased from you I'm beginner if it comes to buddhism my knowledge about statues is poor searching for most popular ones I just wanted to be 100% sure it's not Tara otherwise I would purchase it before is gone.
