90s vintage Laura Ashley formal skirt, rich red-orange, size 4

Calling all autumn princesses! This gorgeous Laura Ashley skirt is vintage early/mid 1990s, circa 1994 or 1995, in a gorgeous shade of red-orange that was referred to in the original item description as "madder." Photos do not do justice to the richness of this elegant, autumnal shade. The silky material is 100% acetate, and is fairly heavy, making this skirt a stunning statement piece for the colder seasons. Pleats around the circumference of the skirt add to its volume and sumptuousness. The skirt is fully lined in 100% polyester -- see the photos for two views of the workmanship in the lining; it's sewn into the hem of the skirt, and it has a slight flounce about halfway up, which helps give the skirt structure. The skirt is a US size 4/UK size 8. When the garment is laid flat, the waist measures approximately 12 1/4 inches end to end (please note that the waist is quite small, and the material the skirt is made of has little-to-no "give"), and when laid flat, the skirt's length is about 35 1/2 inches. Please note that the whitish horizontal lines on the skirt in the first photo are just light coming through the blinds in the room where the photo was taken. This piece is in excellent used condition, having been worn only once.
