lollipopwishes @dawn2u777 oh gosh good luck! I have beige carpets it’s hard to keep up with! I wish I had hard wood floors! My parents had them growing up I thought I hated them now I have carpet and want wood floors! Lol

rockcandy4u @lollipopwishes Before we moved here, my home in Vegas had all Hardwood floors. Then hubby transferred and I got a nice house with wood floors in the entryway and kitchen/Diningroom....everything else is WHITE carpet! Yuck! I get that it keeps warm in.. but White?? Yuck. Lowest quote to just to put wood in living room and 2 hallways 7500.00. Yeah... no.

lollipopwishes @dawn2u777 wow that’s pricey! I wouldn’t have done it either! I wish I could get a rich dark green or blue carpeting but we plan on buying a house in the next few years and making our current one a rental so no point in buying new carpets for someone else lol

rockcandy4u @lollipopwishes I'm going to wait till home depot has another free install for carpeting and get salt & Pepper brown medium shag carpet.. with extra padding. That way I'm under 1000.00. We're thinking about buying another home here in our area for a rental. Weve got our eyes on another house just like ours. Itll be a couple years before it becomes available.

rockcandy4u @lollipopwishes We live in an upscale community and I'm appalled by how renters destroy some of these homes. Some renters are fabulous, I know we were awesome renters...we took care of everything. But, to see these homes not just fall apart but being destroyed kills me. One guy owns 4 pits that are in the house all day. Wood floors, walls, Doors, landscaped back yard all ruined.

rockcandy4u @lollipopwishes My plan is 3000.00 deposit, before and after pictures of everything. Whatever damages will come out of the deposit. 500.00 deposit per pet. Also a clause that if I see neglect, I can give a 30day notice to vacate the property. I will also run their credit and report to credit reporting agencies. I will personally go to the home every 1st of the Month to collect the rent check. Always get the Deposit and 1st month rent by cash.

lollipopwishes @dawn2u777 yes that is an awesome idea! My parents didn’t allow pets and one renter had about 26 cats... left about 20 behind and they didn’t pay their trash pick up and started just putting all of their trash in the spare bedroom. Ants all over and all of the carpets had to be replaced. It was a mess. I can’t believe people can live like that

rockcandy4u @lollipopwishes People like that are just JERKS. Big Cash Deposit. That way you can pay to have it all fixed. Aspca will take the cats. I will allow pets but only 2 free roaming...they need to be on the application. If there are more...e iction time. 500.00 deposit per pet. Cash only. That will deter the JERKS from renting.

rockcandy4u @lollipopwishes The last house we rented was in 2002. We paid a 2000.00 Deposit plus 300.00 for our Belgian Shepherd. In the contract it said if we add another animal we had 2 weeks to inform the owner, plus give another 300.00 deposit. if found we broke any rules on the contract we would be evicted and all deposits not refunded. That was on a 1200.00 a month rental in Las Vegas. Better to be safe than sorry. Todays people seem crazy.
