Hi does the ring tarnish or lose its color?

@kimberlyen26 aloha, the plating is thin and overtime and usage will wear. The base metal is copper. I suggest removing before sleep and water to prolong the plating. I also have some rings that are gold/sterling vermeil which its base is .925 Sterling silver.
