A Beautiful and Early Fred Davis Silver and Turquoise Brooch circa 1930's. Approximate dimensions are 3" by 1.5". Hand crafted with five turquoise stones set in the sterling pin. Signed "Silver Mexico" with the correct Fred Davis "FD" mark. Davis was one of the first of the TAXCO artists and is featured in the book Mexican Silver by Penny C.Morrill and Carole A. Berk The pin back is original and works perfectly. This is a large piece in excellent wearable condition.
